March 2 and 3, the High Five Conference brought marketing and creative professionals throughout the southeast to the Sheraton Raleigh hotel in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina for two days of education, training and networking. Put on by the Triangle American Marketing Association Chapter, the High Five Conference is one of the largest marketing conferences in North Carolina.

Over 200 marketing strategists, communicators, designers, creative directors, product managers, content creators, developers, advertisers, writers, and other marketing and creative professionals attended the 2016 High Five Conference, which is designed to enable marketing professionals to keep their companies and clients cutting edge and market relevant.

More than 40 experts and specialists spoke and presented critical issues and trends facing companies in 2016 ranging from analytics and business intelligence marketing, effective content creation and relevance, marketing campaign tactic trends and best practices, and company culture marketing to cutting edge digital media tools and trends, differentiation marketing, convergence marketing, experiential marketing, marketing trademark law and customer online reputation management.

High Five has grown from an idea to a signature conference over the past three years,” said Evan Carroll, Founder of the High Five Conference and Author/Speaker with Evan Carroll and Associates. “The event itself is certainly impressive, however the most inspiring part is its ripple effect–new connections, jobs, projects and friendships that have come from the event.”

The High Five Conference trade show brought 30 plus national, regional and local sponsors and exhibitors who shared new services and products available to marketers and creatives. High Five sponsors and exhibitors included: Microsoft, Healthgrades, Citrix, Cvent, NC State, Rucci Productions, Theo Davis, Three Ships Media, Capstrat, Zig Zibit, Brand Fuel, inMotionNow, Sprinklr, and Dunn Solutions. The North Carolina Public Relations Society of America, Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, Triangle Ad Federation and others were High Five partner associations.

High Five also provided marketers with trends in cutting edge technology and software. Sprinklr, a social media monitoring, collaboration, and advocacy software for large enterprises, demonstrated its social media listening capability, visually showing attendees’ social media interactions on TVs throughout the conference. “Sprinklr creates social technology that helps large organizations build more meaningful experiences with their customers,” said Riana Zimmerman, representing Sprinklr at High Five. “We’re able to do that because we pioneered a new class of enterprise software that unifies complex organizations.”

“The High Five Conference serves marketing and creative professionals, enabling them to create unparalleled value and impact for their companies and clients,” said Reuel Heyden, Principal for Heyden Communications.
